I am Kenny Spink, founder of Spink Architectural Design. I’ve been working in design and building housing, from extensions and renovations to new builds, since 2002. It is my job to simplify your project to allow you to focus on the high-value things in life; time, decisions, and satisfaction. I am committed to a sustainable built environment. One that performs beyond your expectations and minimises your carbon footprint, and stands the test of time.

Design: 

The first step to getting your design right is for us to meet up to get to know one another, where I can fully understand your needs, wants, and budget. From there, together, we will develop a design that is matched to your budget, embraces your lifestyle, and achieves a sustainable home for the future. I will coordinate and work across all permissions, 3rd party vendors, and the likes that you may need for your project, from structural engineering to bat surveys.

Construction Management: 

Whether you have your design to hand or not, I can lead your project through the construction phase, whether with my network of contractors or yours. Coordinating a build, managing the schedule, and having all of your services stacked up can be a full-time job. When you are working to achieve quality, on time and to a budget, that is where Spink Architectural Design comes in.

Transparency is key to our partnership. I will set out your cost structures with an estimate of everything that you will need to pay, with an outline of when. You will receive regular updates in the style you prefer to receive, whether that is design progress notes, or a fully detailed project schedule showing progress against baseline.

So, who is Kenny Spink?

Originally from Arbroath, I have spent time working in Aberdeen, Invergordon, and Inverness before settling in Nairn. I’ve spent some time in the oil & gas industry, focusing on commercial and project delivery before returning to establish Spink Architectural Design as a local provider of design and build homes, extensions, and renovations. Today, my free time is dedicated to supporting community football across ages 5-12 with the Nairn County Soccer 7s. I am also the lead coach for Nairn County FC’s U16 team in the U16 Highland League.Construction
